Crunch Fitness - Carrollwood

I started at Crunch at the beginning of March 2023 with much hope and some skepticism. I have to say that I have been so pleased with not only the facility, but the people that work there. I love this gym! It's inexpensive, and not insanely busy, which is a huge plus. The staff is always so kind and welcoming and I have to give kudos to the manager, Kyle, who does a good job managing the facility and keeps the place tidy at all times. My trainer, Brian, is just amazing. If you're looking for a good gym, I highly recommend Crunch Carrollwood and get Brian to be your trainer!

These ppl are crooks. I will say that the equipment is decent and a nice suana. It is also clean and the workers and friendly. If you have a special needs child their childcare isn't equipped so keep that in mind. I call them crooks bc I canceled my membership during covid and the manager told me to just cancel my payment to them bc they were closed. Whenever they opened back up they kept my account open and never notified me about to even give me a chance to tell them I canceled. Months later I get a collection notice and to this day can't get an answer from them. So just be careful with signing up.

I would not recommend this location to anyone. My boyfriend has been a loyal member of crunch since 2019. He never goes to the classes and I usually go in his place. I have never had an issue until today. Aakash was super unprofessional and followed me into a class and escorted me out. He would not let me take the class then switch the membership into my name afterwards. Not only did it ruin my workout, we are now being charged extra money since the membership has gone up from when my boyfriend originally signed up. Why does it matter if the guest or the member takes the class?

Today, 2 employees really went above and beyond to help me out. My AirPod randomly fell in the stair master and Corey & Akosh were so gracious to help me find it which was not an easy feat. They were very patient throughout the ordeal. Additionally, the gym is clean and I enjoy the variety of classes. Now that’s customer service!!

It has been a year and they never returned my money or phone call. When I signed up to the gym, they convinced me to try out their trainer for free , who was really nice, but told me I can cancel in three days. If my husband didn’t agree. Well I called and my husband told me it was too expensive at the time. I explained that to the gentleman and he said I wouldn’t be charged , a year later I’ve been fighting the situation you can’t get a hold of the person who handles the accounts. They won’t cancel your membership over the Phone they make you come in and when you do, there’s no one available to cancel your membership and they give you this run around for about a year. A year later they are still charging my card for a membership I did not want I never did any of their training classes. They are a scam once they have your credit card that is it for you. I have had enough with them that I’m calling my bank to close my account. The gym is always packed. I hope these people get sued for taking so many peoples money.

Do not go there. If I could give them 0 star I would. Do yourself a favor If you dont want to get charges that you don’t authorize for a year and half dont go there. There are a lots of good gyms, well known and much much better costumer services in the area go sign up with them. If you read the reviews I am not the only ones they took money without authorization. I didnt read them until now I should have. I down graded my membership a year and half ago, but I didn’t realized they are charging me same price until few months ago, i call them and they said they will refund me. Its been 6 months now and they keep charging me same amount I called them many many times and nothing happened, every time they will say oh we write a comments your refund should be placed in two weeks every single time they say the same thing and they charge me again the same amount next month and no refund at all, until I ended my membership with them on September two weeks after they charge me again double, can you believe that double and of course I called again same thing, then again they charged me for October. I called yesterday again and they said some one from upper management will call me is there a good timing you would like her to call and I said 5pm still she hasn't call. Horrible gym the worse costumer services and management. I cant remember how many times I call them so far, but few times when I call them and I was upset because they have been charging me over and over the person on the phone who was in charge also got mad at me are you kidding me?
